The Dead Writers Club was born out of the fact that there are very few living writers out there that are worth reading. (Naturally, this is because we all yearn to live in the past)

Do you consistently feel as though you are living in the wrong time period? We do too.

This blog is a celebration of literature and the greats who wrote before us.

Dylan Thomas reading his “Poem in October”. There’s something so inexplicably wonderful about hearing a poet read their own work…something so…haunting.

Important Update from DWC : Back to School Special

Firstly, we must apologize for our long absence online.

One of our main contributors was in midst of a BIG move from Chicago to Massachusetts! Our other main writer was busy prepping his syllabus for the upcoming school year and well… it’s just been one absurdly busy month!

Anyway, we will be returning to the blog this month and hopefully we will make up for lost time. We are also proud to bring aboard a new contributor, who is sure to impress, with his extremely vast collection of audio recordings! Huzzah!

Also…

For those of you who are “going back to school”, we just know you are in need of some DWC gear!

More items coming this fall!!

** Please note all proceeds from the shoppe, will go to Children’s Literacy Initiative **
